Asynchronous Consultation

Ideal for practitioners whose schedules don’t allow for a live teleconsultation or who prefer written communication.

• Appointments include review of your patient’s medical records, behavior history, trainer notes, and up to 2 videos* PLUS a written summary including differential diagnoses, diagnostic recommendations, treatment options, and client resources.

  • * Note: Videos should be no longer than 2 minutes in length. Longer videos will not be reviewed. Additionally, if more than 2 videos are submitted, only the first 2 will be reviewed.

• These consultations are booked via our online scheduler. Medical records, behavior history, and videos should be submitted to us prior to this time but you do not need to be present at the time of the scheduled appointment.

• You will receive a written consultation summary via email within 24 hours after the scheduled consultation time. The summary includes a 1 page report intended for the primary care veterinarian. It is not to be given directly to the clients as it will have several treatment options which may be confusing or overwhelming for clients.

• The summary will also include a curated client education resource page tailored to your patient’s presenting issue, which you can share directly with your client if deemed appropriate.
