Margaret Drewno, DVM

Dr. Drewno is an associate veterinarian at Insight and a resident with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists.

Dr. Drewno grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and aspired to become a veterinarian at an early age. She attended North Central College for her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016.

Her interest in animal behavior began during her veterinary studies in an elective course taught by Dr. Kelly Ballantyne and developed further as she began her career in general practice in the Chicago suburbs. After three years in general practice, she chose to pursue her passion for veterinary behavior and began a residency with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) under the mentorship of Dr. Ballantyne.

In her spare time, Dr. Drewno enjoys discovering local music, running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring national parks.
